I was born and raised in northern New Jersey, 15 minutes or so outside of New York City. I love NJ and NYC and they will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though I was connected to my birth home and surrounding areas, there was this lingering feeling as I grew up that I did not quite belong in such a fast-paced, ever changing, always on the go, crowded lifestyle that was NJ and the metropolitan area.

The Downtown Redlands corridor is speckled with local parks, historic sites, and old orange groves. Held every Thursday night, our Market Night was established in 1988. It still thrives to this day. The following list of restaurants, bars, and activities feature some of our favorite local destinations.

Our family of four, including two boys 12 and 13, returned to Redlands for a wedding, a funeral and some much needed time with our west coast family!  We had our usual spots that we wanted to visit; Cheesewalla, El Burrito, A Store Called Quest, etc.  But when the weather in Baltimore kept us in Redlands for three extra days, we managed to make the most of it by enjoying more of what Redlands has to offer including, a La Minute and did I mention Cheesewalla? 

Breweries are undoubtedly one of the top places to kick-back and relax with friends and family. In addition to the tasty beverages available, breweries are family friendly (yes, this includes your fur-babies) and a great place to visit.
