From spooky hauntings to thrilling Halloween light shows and the best trick-or-treating around, discover why a Redlands Halloween is a can’t-miss holiday!

Maybe it’s the costumes. Maybe it's the candy. Maybe it’s the ‘ghosts.’ For us, it’s all the above and more that makes Halloween in Redlands one of our favorite holidays.

What to Do in Redlands This Halloween

A Frightening Tour of Hellsgate Hotel

HELLSGATE HOTEL

Once a grand retreat, Hellsgate Hotel now stands as a monument to darkness. After shutting down in the 1940's due to horrific events that took place, the gates are now opening once again to welcome any visitors who are brave enough to walk through these sinister halls. Do you dare step beyond the iron gates of Hellsgate Hotel? Your room is waiting...

A Haunted Magic Show

THIS IS NOT A HAUNTED HOUSE. This is a thrilling experience where magic and terror intertwine.

Featuring award-winning magician Danny Ray, this exciting magic show includes water effects (some audience members may get wet), strobe lights, and other sensory effects. Audience members will be asked to both sit and stand during the show (comfortable shoes are recommended).

Shows kick of Sunday, September 29th and run through Sunday, November 3. (Shows are not available every day. Please visit the ticket site for show times.)

WARNING: This haunted magic show is intended for audiences AGES 13 and up due to intense scares, special effects, and mature themes. The week of your show you will get an email with a SAFETY WAIVER . Individuals with heart conditions, epilepsy, or other serious health issues should avoid attending, as the performance includes strobe lights, loud noises, and sudden scares. Pregnant women are also advised against attending due to the potential for high stress and unexpected frights.

Losing a pet is never easy. They’re part of the family, especially during the holidays. Recently the About Redlands team had to say goodbye to one of our own, who particularly loved Halloween. Join us in celebrating your fur babies who are no longer with you by bringing a 4-by-6 photo to the Redlands Visitors Center and adding it to our Pet Ofrenda this Halloween. Write a message on our Memorial Wall honoring those you have lost.

Olive Avenue Halloween Extravaganza

Olive Ave. home decorated with skeletons and gravestones.

As Halloween approaches, this year the City of Redlands will merge our traditional Downtown event with trick-or-treat activities in the historic Olive Avenue neighborhood.
