It’s a walking food tour that uses the Redlands Downtown Arrow Train stop as the home base. 1:15 PM Cheesy Birria Tacos + Margarita Flight
Start your adventure at Don Orange, a swanky take on modern Mexican cuisine. Ambiance abounds in this Instagram-worthy watering hole, with a flavor-forward menu that doesn’t disappoint. The Cheesy Birria Tacos are a favorite here, as are the margarita flights!
3:00 PM — Authentic
Head to Lappert's Ice Cream, which is legendary for its small batch, super-premium ice cream infused with the tropical flavors of Hawaii! Keep your trip ultra-refreshing with a traditional shave ice.
4:30 PM - Roasted Baby Beet Salad & Blood Orange Mojito
Head to Rok n Fondue, where the urban hipster vibe is matched by a playful menu focused on fresh ingredients. New to the menu (it’s not even online yet!) is the roasted baby beet salad with pistachio vinaigrette, arugula and goat cheese. Pair it with a Blood Orange Mojito. (The non-alcoholic option is equally delightful.) This is a dynamic duo you’ll remember.
Want a bite that’s a little more hearty? Check out the Bruschetta loaded with diced heirloom tomatoes, basil pesto, and a sweet balsamic glaze.
If you’re looking for another round, wait until 5 pm, when Happy Hour kicks off downstairs and in the bar. Drinks are as cheap as $6 and on Wine Down Wednesdays they offer half price on $50 or less bottles.
6:00 PM — Dessert
One can never be quite sure what they’ll find on the dessert menu at Caprice Cafe. But the truth is, it doesn’t matter. The sweet treats here are always phenomenal. Think buttermilk panna cotta, blood orange granita, and almond shortbread biscuit. Imagine blackberry studded cheesecake or chocolate truffle tart.
