The LL Guild's Tea at the Eating Room was the best tea I have had the privilege of enjoying. The treats out classed those Dennis and I had at Buckingham Palace several years back!

I just read the reviews on Yelp and how ignorant some people can be! The Eating Room Rustic Tea is NOT a high tea...like a fancy English Tea. And, a traditional tea only serves three main teas: Black, Oolong or Red, and Green Tea.
We associate a traditional tea with dainty cucumber sandwiches and scones with afternoon tea, there is no set menu and it really depends on the time of year, the setting, and personal tastes. Sandwiches and scones are standard fare but other choices can include muffins, crumpets, bread and butter, cakes, cookies (biscuits), gingerbread, pastries, fruit, and a selection of jam and jellies, preserves, lemon curd, and clotted cream.
I have traveled the world and experienced many types of teas. The Eating Room's Rustic Tea is unique and plentiful. The selection of sandwiches like the curried chicken on their homemade walnut currant is a treat and rarely anything you will see in an afternoon tea. Lastly, the quantity of food at this tea is unusual. We took food home there was so much. This is not a light meal, so make it an early dinner.

Oh, my!! I took my mother and grandmother to the tea for a girls day out and what a surprise. The food was wonderful and we could not believe how much you were served. The chicken curry on current walnut bread was our favorite. We discovered they make the bread there in the bakery daily. We bought three loaves to take home! Loved the egg salad as it's one of my favorite sandwiches. I recommend it for everyone.

Thank you so much for the fabulous Tea at Martha E. Green 's The-Eating Room this afternoon. The food was delectable and ELVIS aka Joseph Banuelos was very entertaining. Angels' Closet Board of Directors (Pat & Tom Williams, Nadine Gump, Sara Thompson and Camille Andreas) along with their helpers made their
first annual Angels' Tea one to remember. Our Communities High School students are lucky to have ACC working devotedly on their behalf.

I took my 2 grandmother's, 3 aunt's, mother, and 2 sister here to do something fun for all our ages when we were all in the same place. Before going to the rustic tea all of us had not been together in 3 years! it really is a beautiful and sweet thing to do with friends or family!
